The SL 25 XXL non-insulated all-glass slide-and-turn system can be used at extreme heights, making it the perfect option for balcony glazing. It can carry a panel weights of up to 65 kg, and glass thicknesses of up to 12 mm TSG – making it also the perfect choice for exposed locations with exacting structural requirements.
The sliding panels can be pushed to the left and/or right towards the opening position and swings inwards or outwards to open. It has a top running mechanism with sealed bearings and fibreglass-reinforced polyamide bearing surfaces for quiet running. There are a range of locking options for swing panels, a magnetic door stay for swing panel and slim-line panel catches. There is a safeguard at second panel exit to prevent incorrect operation.
The glass is fixed in-line along aluminium profiles at top and bottom with no vertical panel profiles. Panels are suspended from top horizontal profiles and guided along bottom horizontal profiles using running mechanisms. There is a choice of glass thicknesses of 8, 10 and 12 mm – heat-soaked, toughened safety glass, panes are polished on all edges.
