Solarlux launches Avario: a new glazed extension range for year-round living

Solarlux has launched Avario, a new range of glazed extension systems designed to integrate seamlessly with existing homes and create light-filled living spaces for year-round use.

The launch coincides with the opening of Solarlux’s new UK showroom at its Welwyn Garden City office. Stefan Holtgrewe, Managing Director and CEO of Solarlux, travelled from Germany to officially open the showroom on 2nd October, joining the Solarlux UK team, customers, partners and industry guests to mark the occasion.

The new showroom allows architects, designers, homeowners and members of Solarlux’s specialist partner network to experience the company’s systems in person, including the new Avario range.

Available in three configurations - Avario Smart, Avario Pro and Avario Cube - the new range gives architects greater freedom to tailor glazed extensions to individual projects.

Designed and manufactured in Germany, Avario combines slim, co-ordinated profiles with extensive opening options, high levels of thermal insulation and integrated accessories.

Avario’s redesigned eaves detail is engineered to provide high levels of thermal insulation, while triple glazing up to 54 mm thick can further support the system’s energy efficiency.

Integrated options for solar shading, ventilation and insect protection can further enhance comfort, helping to create a more controlled internal environment throughout the year.

Avario also offers integrated lighting, helping to make the space usable beyond daylight hours.

LED strips and spotlights can be incorporated into the rafters and wall connection profile, with additional lighting around the gutter. The lighting can be adjusted to create different atmospheres throughout the extension and surrounding garden.

Every Avario system is configured to suit the requirements of each project, allowing architects to specify a combination of opening options, finishes and integrated features.

Avario is now available in the UK through Solarlux and its network of specialist installation partners.
