Apartments close to the city are more popular than ever, but industrial and traffic noise often pose major challenges. Noise pollution can not only impair living comfort, but also lead to serious health consequences. For living spaces, as well as balconies and loggias, it is therefore important to comply with certain sound insulation values. These requirements for effective noise protection can be reliably achieved with the various Solarlux systems – with maximum sound attenuation values of 30 dB. This also enables important building projects for densification in highly urbanized areas, which do not have to forgo outdoor seating. The sliding systems from Solarlux can also be used as soundproof glazing in front of classic turn-and-tilt windows. Mechanical ventilation through trickle vents or tilt windows integrated into the glazing can also be realized with Solarlux systems.
