You have been awarded with a Design Educates Award and now you don't know what to expect? We would like to answer all your questions about the award ceremony and exhibition. Below you will find the most important information.
Who will attend the event?
The award ceremony is open to everyone. All participants of the competition are invited to join the event. We hope to welcome as many winners as possible in person at the Solarlux Campus. Of course, there will be a live stream for all who are not able to travel to Germany.
Since we have to plan the course of the ceremony, we need your registration as soon as possible. Please inform Wiktoria about your participation and register on the event page.
Who will be invited on stage?
Due to the large number of awardees, not all of them can be invited onto the stage individually. The winners in the “honourable mention” category are therefore invited onto the stage in groups of 5, while we quickly run through images of the awarded projects and take photos. The main winners attending the event will have a 2 minutes speech on the stage.
How to participate in the exhibition?
Especially the winners of the design catagories are invited to make an exhibit available. The exhibition area will be visited after the official ceremony. As awardee you will be able to present your design in an open and free discussion with visitors. Architectural projects are presented on exhibition walls.
When it comes to design objects (such as mockups, prototypes etc.) please contact Wiktoria, and send details like exhibit description, photos and size. Please note that you should take the element with you to ceremony and take back after. Please let us know by the end of July.
How do I get my book and certificate?
Please be advised that printed materials (books and certificates) won't be shipped and are only available during the event.
When you are not able to attend in person you will be provided with digital versions of the book and winners certificate afterwards.
