With the outdoors in mind, the design of the lift and slide doors provides wide openings and easy operation for modern homes and commercial spaces. Unlike traditional sliding doors, which can feel heavy and difficult to move, lift and slide systems use a specialised mechanism that raises the door panel slightly off the track before sliding. This reduces friction and allows large, heavy panels to move smoothly with minimal effort.
After lowering, the lift and slide panel seals against the floor threshold and the closure section with two layers of seals. At the top and the centre closure there are two multi-chamber, plastic sealing rails with additional seals that join to create a thermal barrier between the climate inside and that outdoors, and provide stability and a high level of impermeability to wind and driving rain.
Available in around 39 wood finishes, choose from a range of wood shades with a matt or silk gloss finish. Due to differences in wood textures, grains and natural colours, the appearance of one and the same colour may vary greatly on different types of wood.
