Westlands Farmhouse, a heritage-listed property, recently underwent a significant transformation to replace an outdated conservatory from the 1980s. The homeowners envisioned a contemporary glass extension that would flood their new kitchen with natural light, seamlessly connecting indoor spaces to the garden. Maintaining the farmhouse's historic character while introducing modern functionality was central to the design.

Solarlux cero III sliding doors in an open corner design met the project’s design, functionality, and security requirements, blending minimalist aesthetics with advanced thermal technology. Our advanced doors are well-known for their sleek, slimline appearance. With their distinctive 34mm sightline all around, these doors do away with the conventional frame bulk at the top and sides of the door set.

We craft all our doors in Melle, Germany. Every set of sliding doors is designed to achieve maximum transparency, with an impressive 98% glass surface per panel, providing maximum light and a feeling of space and unobstructed views. The cornerless design creates a fantastic open aspect, effortlessly connecting the contemporary kitchen space to the Wilsthire countryside and beyond.
