When using the new mySolarlux portal, questions might arise about some of the main features, such as logging in, registration, new content and apps. In our FAQ, we provide quick answers to the most important questions.

Log-in & registration

How can I register for the Solarlux portal?

Open the website https://my.solarlux.com and click on “Register".

What obligatory fields do I need to fill in during registration?

Depending on the target group, a different number of obligatory fields will be marked with an *. Private customers must enter their personal address, while specialist partners must enter their company address.

Why do I need to confirm my registration?

After registering, a confirmation email will be sent to your specified email address. To confirm your registration, click on the link in the email. This is necessary to ensure that the registration was performed by you personally in order to meet the currently applicable legal conditions. The link in the email is valid for 72 hours; after that, you must request a new link.

What should I do if I have forgotten my password?

On the registration page, you can find a link: “Forgotten password”. This will direct you to a page where you can enter the email address that you used to register for mySolarlux for the first time. You will then receive another email containing a link, which you can use to reset your password.

 

Profile

Why do I have a personal profile?

By having a personal profile, you can easily change your personal details in the portal or add a personal profile picture.

How can I upload a profile picture?

Click on the button “Upload profile picture”. This will let you upload a photo or symbol that is stored on your computer.

The company logo can only be uploaded and changed on the company profile by the company administrator. This logo is then transferred to the profiles of all the members of the company, but cannot be changed by them.

Where does the information on my profile come from that I cannot change?

If you are not a company administrator, you cannot change certain details such as permissions to access content, the company logo, etc. You can see this information on your profile, but you cannot change it. If you have any questions, you can contact us at mysolarlux@solarlux.com. 

 

Administration

Why is there a company administrator?

There are two separate user levels in mySolarlux: employee and company administrator. The administrator is assigned special authorisation and rights by Solarlux. For example, they can invite employees from their company to use the portal, grant registered employees authorisation for specific content and apps, upload the company logo or change their company details.

How do I become an administrator?

If you want to become an administrator for your company, please contact mysolarlux@solarlux.com.

What permissions does the company administrator have?

There are two separate user levels in mySolarlux: employee and company administrator. The administrator can grant permission to access different mySolarlux content to employees who are also registered with mySolarlux.

Why can I see more/less content than my colleagues?

In the new mySolarlux portal, permission can be granted to view different content and apps. For every user, it is possible to configure in detail their permissions to access content and apps via the portal. The decision to grant permissions lies with the company administrator of the company. The administrator grants permissions for every registered employee of the company via the administration interface.  

Where can I find the order status?

After logging into the portal, you can already see the five most recent orders placed with Solarlux and their status on the home page. By clicking on “Detail”, you can view more information about each order as well as obtain a visual overview of the current processing status.

All orders can also be viewed via the menu point “My orders – Order status” in the navigation bar.   

Where can I find Solarlux apps, such as the price finder, assembly app, etc.?

You can view all the apps that you have been granted permission to use under the menu point “Solarlux apps”.
