PLENTY OF SPACE FOR FAMILY LIFE

"Traditional red-brick architecture with modern cero sliding windows? Why not?" Those were the thoughts of homeowner Margreet Keijer when she was weighing up how best to extend her family's detached house into their garden. The cero sliding window by Solarlux was a key element in her design. When looking for a way of seamlessly combining the family's living and dining area with their patio, the owner opted for three-panel cero sliding windows. The result has been a hit with all the family. While the children are playing in the garden, their parents can enjoy some peace and quiet in a living room flooded with light - and it still feels like they're all spending the time together. The new space has brought the family even closer together than before.

LETTING THE LIGHT IN

The living and dining room has taken on a new shine since the extension was installed. The three-panel cero sliding windows let plenty of daylight into the room and lend it a pleasant ambience.

A SEAMLESS TRANSITION

The living room and patio flooring look like they are made of the same material - an effect amplified by the cero sliding window. This smooth transition lends the new living room a sense of even more space and openness.

NO MORE SPATIAL OR LIGHTING BOUNDARIES

The cero sliding doors can be slid to the left or the right, either by hand or with the aid of a motorised drive. At the same time, the almost completely frameless glass breaks down the boundary between the inside of the home and the great outdoors.
This allows plenty of light into the new living area, even when the sky is overcast..
