Solarlux presents new window system

The perfect match for bi-foldings and wintergardens

Incorporating window elements into glazed extensions and bi-foldings is a common task. In order to achieve a continuous, uniform look throughout its projects, Solarlux, specialist in patio canopies and wintergardens and market leader in the bi-foldings segment, has taken the step of revising its existing window systems.

The manufacturer now offers matching window and door systems for the aluminium, wood and wood/aluminium combination variants of its systems. These can be fixed elements, classic turn-and-tilt or tilting elements, model windows, top lights or doors, for example. In order to ensure a uniform look for the entire system, the design matches the glazing solutions with which it can be combined. All the elements in every order are treated in the same coating and varnishing process in order to ensure that there are no differences in colour. And just like the company’s bi-foldings, patio canopies and wintergardens, Solarlux window systems are also notable for their durable functionality.

Aluminium window system: The filigree Ecoline and Highline

The highly heat-insulated aluminium profile system is available in two overall frame depths to match the Ecoline and Highline bi-foldings: just 67 and 84 millimetres. The minimalist design of the bi-foldings has been adapted for the two window systems, with square-edge profiling, minimal panel profile sight lines of 78.5 millimetres, and concealed fittings as an optional extra. The sophisticated technology with a fibreglass-reinforced polyamide break profile as its centrepiece provides additional stability. Segmented elements with fixed needles or forend variants are also available on request from the customer. The designs are available with certified security that meets anti-burglary protection classes RC2 and RC2N as an option.

Wooden window system: The natural Woodline

With an overall depth of 91 mm in its panel and sub-frame profiles, the new, solid wood Woodline window system integrates perfectly into the associated bi-folding door, as a flush transition is created between the inside and outside of the frame profiles during the connection process. And the maximum transparency that characterises the Woodline bi-folding door is also matched by the window, with a slender all-round sight line of 72 millimetres for the fixed window and 100 millimetres for elements with panels.

Wood/aluminium window system: The robust Combiline

The Combiline bi-folding door offers all the benefits of a wood/aluminium construction. The wood profiles on the inside give the system a warm look, while the outside is fitted with weather-proof aluminium. The matching, thermally insulated wood/aluminium window system is now available with a slender all-round sight line of 87 millimetres for the fixed window and 100 millimetres for elements with panels, both with a square-edged aluminium cover on the outside.

Quality guarantees water-tightness – even in wooden systems

The wood and wood/aluminium window systems are created by turning multi-laminated, high-quality wooden beams into square-edged wooden panel frame profiles. Like all new window systems, these wooden systems also feature controlled drainage. In designs with the optional concealed fittings, care is taken to ensure that the sealing level is not interrupted, so consistent impermeability is guaranteed throughout the system.

Whether the elements have fixed glazing, are moving elements with a rebate, or two-panel elements as a forend or with a fixed vertical post, every one of Solarlux’s window systems is available in a wide range of variants to create bespoke solutions. And a high-quality, square-edged, Solarlux stainless steel handle rounds off the timeless design.
