Solarlux offers certification for all design variants

A home that’s a castle: All of Solarlux’s bi-folding doors now come with RC2 certification – even the paired bi-folding doors. This means that Solarlux is currently the only provider on the market that offers a high level of burglar resistance in accordance with DIN EN 1627 for every configuration of its bi-foldings.

Bi-folding door variants with an even number of glass elements – four, six or eight, for example – represent a challenge when it comes to providing a good level of burglar resistance. This is why, up until now, they have only been available with “increased security”. Now, however, all four of Solarlux’s bi-folding door systems (Highline, Ecoline, Woodline and Combiline) are RC2-certified to confirm that they fulfil the security standard requirements in accordance with DIN EN 1627 – even those with pairs of bi-folding doors.

This means that variants that open to the left, to the right, or both are all available as options. For example, the planner can choose to install six left-handed glass elements or six right-handed ones – or two left and four right. Inward and outward opening is also available for all variants.

This extended RC2 certification gives Solarlux a decisive USP as a manufacturer, as it can now produce all the countless configuration variants of its bi-folding door systems in accordance with RC2 standards, no matter whether they have an even or odd number of elements.
